The companies forming the Group IMSA are leaders in the steel processed products segment. These exported to five continents and include manufacturing and distribution operations in Mexico, United States, Europe, Central and South America . 50% of its production is sold outside Mexico. Its main products include: Plate Hot-rolled steel in cold , galvanized steel panels , plastic sheet and strip steel.

Grupo IMSA originated in 1936 with the formation of Industrias Monterrey.
